No. EduTab works with most existing Android tablets running Android 8 or later. You can use your current devices with our EduTab Portal and EduTab App Marketplace.

If you want pre-configured tablets that arrive ready to use, we offer EduTab branded tablets, but they're optional.

New devices can be enrolled by simply scanning a QR code. The device automatically downloads its configuration, enrolls in your EduTab Portal, and is ready to use—typically in under 5 minutes.

Devices can function offline with cached apps and content. They sync with the EduTab Portal when connectivity returns. For schools with limited internet, this ensures learning continues.

Yes, optionally. Schools can enable location tracking for theft recovery or administrative purposes. This feature is disabled by default and can be enabled based on your policies.

Annual billing gives you 2 months free (approximately 17% discount).

Yes. There are no long-term contracts. Cancel your subscription at any time, and your service continues until the end of your paid period.

Yes. For annual subscriptions, we can work with institutional purchase order processes. Contact us for details.

Nothing automatic. You won't be charged. Your account converts to the free tier (EduTab App Marketplace access only). To continue using EduTab Portal features, simply choose a subscription plan.

Yes. Many schools are transitioning away from Google Workspace due to compliance concerns. EduTab provides:

• An alternative app ecosystem (no Google Play dependency)
• Device management without Google services
• Guidance on migration planning

Switching MDM solutions involves a few easy steps:

1. Unenrolling devices from your current solution
2. Factory resetting devices (recommended for clean start)
3. Enrolling in EduTab via QR code

For large-scale migrations, this can be done in batches during breaks or after school hours.

Not recommended. Running multiple MDM solutions on the same device creates conflicts. We recommend migrating fully rather than running in parallel.

Security measures include:

Yes. If a device is lost or stolen, administrators can remotely wipe it through the Portal.
